DIY Framed Silhouettes

This is my take on another Pinner's project.
Instead of using fabric, like their tutorial said, I used pretty scrapbook paper (yay glitter!). I traced the silhouettes I wanted from Google images onto a piece of notebook paper, then used that as my stencil when penciling the shapes onto the pretty paper. I glued the pieces to a contrasting color of paper and framed them!

See? Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
SO SWEET on our little Chandler's nursery walls!

DIY Closet Dividers

My son's nursery wouldn't be complete without Pintrest.
I just made these fun dividers to hang in his closet!
To sum up the extensive tutorial I followed,
I just cut the shapes out of a cereal box,
then cut scrapbook paper to glue on either side.
Voila!
Next feat: a DIY mobile to hang over his crib.
Wish me luck!

Nursery Idea Board

Now that we have a name for our baby, it's time to start focusing on his bedroom. We decided to go with a grey and yellow palette with black and white highlights- here are some of the pieces that have inspired us, so far:
Now, to find furniture and other goodies to make it happen!
