(After 3 hours of screaming at the TV -nose four inches from the screen, mouthful of pizza, beer in hand....)
We were watching the Stanley Cup awards ceremony. While watching each of the Bruins skate around, holding The Cup, I asked Jordan what he would do if he could spend 24 hours with the trophy. He answered, "I wanna kiss it. I'd kiss it and have a parade and drink miller light from it. I wanna steal it- no, I wouldn't do that.. it's sacred. Plus, then I'd be cursed forever." He then leaned in and kissed my cheek and said, "..but you're the best trophy of them all."
I love love love my die hard hockey fan husband. As always, GO SABRES! Maybe next year?
We've been extremely busy visiting family and friends and making up for lost time and the chaos has only just begun. Friday we shall embark on our very first road trip together: Las Vegas for three days, then to the Central Coast of California, to spend time with my family and close friends, for about a week. I can't wait for the one-on-one time with my husband. We still have so much to catch up on from the last year. I'll do my best to update frequently with photos.
It's so great to have him back where I can see him, kiss him and know that he's safe. This is my view, as I type:

My nerves are through the roof, I'm excited beyond belief and I'm not going to be able to fall asleep tonight. My mind is racing, trying to remember all the things I need to do today, before he gets home tomorrow. Why didn't I make a list? I keep asking myself that question- over and over and over and over again. Here's what I can remember...
