Operation Happy Holiday

Yesterday Jordan's brigade did a ruck march for the homeless. They arrived at 5:30am with empty ruck sacks (fancy army term for backpack) and filled them with donations of clothing, canned goods, blankets and more. They march 8 miles in below freezing temperatures to deliver the items in front of a soup kitchen downtown.
Jordan was the only soldier with a stroller on his back, so he's pretty easy to spot in the top photo (right lower corner).
I love that the troops are involved in their community, especially during the holidays. There are so many people around here in need of the things we tend to take for granted and this is such an eye opener.
Thanks, Raider Brigade, for taking the initiative to make a difference!
