Announcing...

Baby Dowler.

Due March 15th, 2012.

We found out just before our trip to Germany and now that we're safely into the second trimester (thank goodness), we're finally sharing our happy news. We can't wait to welcome our little critter into the world and we are so grateful for our friends and family who have been so supportive.

Ultimately, our goal is to raise our baby in a house full of love and respect, where kindness is key and happiness is abundant. We will raise our baby to be well-mannered and patient, as well as strong and fully self spoken. We will love and accept our baby, no matter who they choose to be, and we will always encourage their growth as a human being.

We invite you to join us on our new adventure, by reading as we blog about the ups and downs of pregnancy and parenthood.

WLC Graduation

Congratulations to my sweet husband who graduates WLC (Warrior Leaders Course) today with superior honors. I'm so proud of you, Jordan! For those of you who don't know, WLC is the school required for one to become an NCO (Non Commissioned Officer). Jordan will be working towards his promotion to Sergeant over the next few months. SGT Dowler- it's got a good ring to it, don't you think?

As predicted, I did get in a little bit of trouble for posting that old picture of Jordan. So in an attempt to make it right, I'll post one of myself. An eye for an eye or something like that, right?  I was about the same age in this photo as Jordan was in his, so I figured it would be a fair trade. Too bad we were such cute little kids, huh...

Cheese and Ham

In my wildest dreams, I never would have imagined myself being as happy as I am today. Nobody in the world can make me smile like Jordan does. Not a day goes by that he doesn't make me feel like I'm the most beautiful person to ever walk the earth. Every day I think I couldn't possibly be happier. Every day he proves me wrong. I don't know what I did to deserve such an incredible husband, or even if I do, but I do know that I'm keeping him forever. I'm the luckiest.

I found this picture of Jordan and had to post it. If our kids are one tenth as cute as he was, we're going to be in trouble. Check out this little ham and TRY not to smile. I dare you.

Love Like This

Jordan, as always, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS. You are my rock, my best friend, the boat I climb into when things get too deep and the best husband I could have ever dreamed of. Thank you for all you are to me. These three months will fly by, you'll see. I love you.
